| I started my July class on Monday.
My prof is French, aka just flew over from France a couple weeks ago. He has a gorgeous accent, but he makes up words or substitutes false cognates.
This is not a French class. It's a 5000 level management class.
He seems like a nice guy and is clearly very intelligent, but I'm wondering why we have such a lack of management professors that we had to get one from France that can lecture, but can't explain assignments.

| I forgot to mention who we saw the morning after the wedding!
Dr. McDreamy (Patrick Dempsey from Grey's Anatomy) who was there for the NASCAR races that weekend.
Matt took me to the Gaylord Texan. It was amazing and beautiful and a total surprise.

| Wedding
The wedding went wonderfully. No one spilled anything on me, all the vendors showed up, and most importantly, my wedding planner did not give birth (although she sure looked like she was going to).
The only thing that could be construed as going wrong was that my mother accidentally bought cans of Bud Light rather than bottles. CANS! You can tell she doesn't buy beer ever when she didn't realize the difference in the packages indicating cans or bottles. Of course, now there are beer cans as well as bottles in practically every picture.
Honeymoon
It was absolutely perfect. We spent a week lying by the pool and drinking as much as was humanly possible. By the time it was time to leave, we were ready to go, though, and were glad we hadn't arranged to stay longer. Maybe if we'd gotten married in Oklahoma rather than in Texas, it would be different. But we were down in Texas for almost a week before the wedding and then were on our honeymoon for almost a week, so we were ready to get back to our home.
Post-Honeymoon Honeymoon
We both took an extra 3 days off work so we could hang around the house and reorganize and it was much needed! We got very few actual gifts - 75% were checks, cash or gift cards, which is just as well. We got all the pots/pans we wanted - All-clad stainless steel, plus a few anolon titanium nonstick for Matt - and all the kitchen stuff that we either didn't have (which are few) or wanted better versions of.
I'm embarrassed to say that we had to buy a Farberware egg poacher because it was the only brand that made them at the stores we were at, but other than that, everything else should last us a billion years. There really is a difference in quality between the top of the line pots and pans and the Farberware crap. Then again, I'm sure most people that buy Farberware don't cook as much as we do.
Anyway, our house still looks like a tornado hit it and probably will until we can make a trip to Crate & Barrel.

| Went to see X-Men 3 Today and it was okay. Big difference between it and the first two. There were a lot of corny one-liners in it.
My advice? Wait til it comes out on video...
